- [Immunostaining basics: What to know before starting](https://vectorlabs.com/blog/immunostaining-basics-what-to-know-before-starting/): Observation is one of the fundamental steps in the scientific method. However, for centuries the scientific study of tissues was limited to observations of dissections with the unaided eye. It was not until the mid-19th century with the introduction of dyes, such as hematoxylin, that the subcellular structure of tissues became visible and the science of histochemistry emerged (1).
- [How to use VectaPlex™ Antibody Removal Kit](https://vectorlabs.com/blog/how-to-use-vectaplex-antibody-removal-kit/): Multiplexing, a powerful technique that allows the visualization of multiple biomarkers within a single sample, has revolutionized the field by offering researchers valuable insights into the spatial context of complex cellular processes and interactions. By analyzing multiple targets in the same specimen, researchers can obtain a holistic view of their tissue while conserving precious sample. However, performing multiplex assays can be challenging. Cross reactivity between detection reagents can often limit reagent choices and circumventing this by directly labeling primary antibodies can lead to altered antibody function and loss of specificity. Thankfully, VectaPlex™ Antibody Removal Kit comes to the rescue, simplifying the multiplex workflow, preserving tissue integrity, and enabling multiple rounds of staining without reducing target availability.

Download Copeptin ELISA Flyer (PDF) Why Copeptin Instead of Direct Vasopressin (AVP)
Copeptin is derived from the same precursor as vasopressin but offers significantly greater stability in blood samples. Unlike AVP, copeptin concentrations are less sensitive to pre-analytical handling, enabling reproducible measurement across multiple timepoints during early-stage research.

- [Immunofluorescence](https://vectorlabs.com/immunofluorescence/): Empowering discovery with functionalized tools for fluorescence-based detection
- [ABC Kits](https://vectorlabs.com/browse/abc-avidin-biotin-complex-kits/): Achieve sensitivity and specificity for your immunoassays with our time-tested, versatile Avidin-Biotin Complex (ABC) detection systems.
- [Primary Antibodies for Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry](https://vectorlabs.com/primary-antibodies-for-immunofluorescence-immunohistochemistry/): Antibody specificity and sensitivity are two main factors that influence successful outcomes for immunofluorescence (IF) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. Favorable antibody performance in other assays does not always translate to IF and IHC applications and can result in undesirable effects, including producing weak or no signal, showing nonspecific background staining that interferes with analysis, or even causing false positive signals.
- [Antibodies and Reagents for Infectious Disease Research](https://vectorlabs.com/antibodies-and-reagents-for-infectious-disease-research/): The Vector Laboratories portfolio now includes a synergistic collection of antibody-centric brands — Absolute Antibody, LSBio, Everest Biotech, Exalpha, Nordic-MUbio, and Kerafast.
- [Antibodies and Reagents for Cancer Research](https://vectorlabs.com/antibodies-reagents-for-cancer-research/): The Vector Laboratories portfolio now includes a synergistic collection of antibody-centric brands — Absolute Antibody, LSBio, Everest Biotech, Exalpha, Nordic-MUbio, and Kerafast.
- [Immunohistochemistry](https://vectorlabs.com/immunohistochemistry-2/): High-performance IHC reagents for accurate, reproducible staining
- [Species-On-Species](https://vectorlabs.com/browse/species-on-species-detection/): Species-on-species detection, such as mouse-on-mouse and human-on-human immunodetection workflows, can pose significant challenges due to high background staining and cross-reactivity with endogenous immunoglobulins. Conventional detection methods often struggle to differentiate between primary antibodies and native immunoglobulins in tissue samples, leading to non-specific staining and ambiguous results.
- [Antigen Unmasking](https://vectorlabs.com/antigen-unmasking/): Formalin fixation is a standard method in immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF) workflows to preserve tissue morphology. However, formalin induces cross-linking of proteins which can mask antigenic sites and hinder antibody binding.
- [Mounting Media](https://vectorlabs.com/mounting-media/): Vector Laboratories provides a comprehensive portfolio of aqueous and non-aqueous mounting media specifically designed to meet the rigorous demands of microscopy across a broad range of applications.
- [Our Community](https://vectorlabs.com/about/our-community/): Strengthening Communities
