## Token Wrapping (Canonical)

Hex Trust provides regulated custodial infrastructure for the wrapping, minting,
burning, and cross-chain deployment of digital assets. The service is designed
specifically for institutional participants — foundations, market makers, and

### How It Works

1. Hex Trust Wallet: Receives and stores collateral assets. 1 native token = 
   1 minted wrapped token (1:1 backing at all times).
2. Minting: An Authorised Merchant transfers native tokens to Hex Trust. Hex
   Trust issues an equal amount of wrapped tokens on the destination blockchain.
3. Burning: An Authorised Merchant initiates a burn transaction. Hex Trust
   releases the corresponding native collateral once the burn is confirmed
   on-chain.
