# Black Pear Software

> Black Pear Software builds connected healthcare systems for the NHS using HL7 FHIR® standards. We specialise in interoperability: giving clinicians a unified view of patient data across primary, secondary, and community care.

Our products share a common thesis — treat healthcare data like a social network, so any authorised system can read from or write to the patient record in real time. We build on FHIR, AWS, and NHS national infrastructure (NRL, Spine, TPP, EMIS), and our technology underpins regional shared-care records and end-of-life care coordination across multiple ICBs in England.
