# 9Line > Affordable Accuracy for 911 Compliance 9Line is an enterprise E911 compliance platform that delivers precise, Kari's Law and Ray Baum's Act compliant, detailed location information with every 911 call to the correct PSAP for organizations across the United States and Canada. The platform integrates natively with Cisco, BroadWorks, and Microsoft Teams phone systems. ## Solutions - [9Line for Cisco Emergency Responder (CER)](https://9line.net/9line-for-cer/): E911 compliance for Cisco CER customers. Tracks devices via MAC address, IP subnet, or Wi-Fi access point. Supports HELD for Webex users. Dynamically assigns DIDs at call time (no pre-purchased DIDs required). Tier-based licensing with SSO and API integration. - [9Line for Cisco CUCM](https://9line.net/9line-for-cucm/): E911 compliance for Cisco Unified Communications Manager. Routes 911 calls through customer voice gateways to 9Line's active-active session border controllers. Assigns temporary DIDs, inserts location metadata, and handles PSAP callback conversion. - [9Line for BroadWorks](https://9line.net/9line-for-bwks/): Cloud-based E911 for carriers using BroadWorks. Supports any registered device with address assignment based on device profiles or user IDs. Extension-aware routing accepts calls from BroadWorks extensions and supports PSAP callback to the same extension. - [9Line for Microsoft Teams](https://9line.net/ms-teams-911-with-9line/): E911 service for Microsoft Teams Direct Routing customers. Custom implementation plans, compliance testing, and workflow integration. Built around the "Simplify, Comply, and Save Lives" methodology. - [Echo Transcription and Alerting](https://9line.net/echo/): Real-time call transcription and keyword alerting system. Provides live speech-to-text, dual keyword detection (literal matching and AI-powered semantic analysis every 15 seconds), instant alerts with confidence scores, and secure audio/transcript storage. Runs natively within 9Line SBC infrastructure with no additional hardware. Currently in preview. - [Professional Services](https://9line.net/pro-serv/): Tiered deployment packages: Jumpstart (basic setup and configuration), Enterprise (advanced features for complex operations), and Full Deployment (comprehensive implementation with trusted partners). ## Key Features 9Line's platform provides the following across all supported telephony systems: - Kari's Law compliance: built-in notifications when 911 is called, callback number mapping, no prefix dialing - Ray Baum's Act compliance: dispatchable location delivery including street address, floor, and room number - Remote worker support at no additional cost - No per-location charges: scales from one location to 10,000+ - No additional fees or change charges - Single Sign-On (SSO) and API integration - Tier-based licensing for flexible feature selection - Active-active session border controllers with encrypted connections - Cloud-based portal for location management and administration ## Compliance Background ### Kari's Law (effective February 17, 2020) Requires three things from multi-line telephone systems: (1) users can dial 911 without any prefix or access code, (2) a notification must be sent when 911 is called including caller information and location, (3) a valid callback number must be provided for reconnection if disconnected. ### Ray Baum's Act Requires a dispatchable location (street address plus room number, floor number, or other details) with every 911 call. On-premises phones required compliance by January 6, 2021. Remote workers required compliance by January 6, 2022. ### Non-Compliance Consequences Civil liabilities, fines of $10,000 plus $500 per day of non-compliance, and potential litigation with precedent for damages in the tens of millions of dollars. ## FAQ - Q: Do these laws apply to me? A: If your organization uses a multi-line telephone system (MLTS) or VoIP, yes. - Q: I have Cisco Emergency Responder, is that sufficient? A: CER alone does not achieve Ray Baum's Act compliance since it does not send a dispatchable location on its own. - Q: I have locations mapped with my carrier, is that sufficient? A: Mapped locations are only partial compliance. Additional information such as a dispatchable location is also required. - Q: What happens if I call 911 from a cell phone? A: The Cisco Jabber or Webex Teams dialer recognizes the emergency number and the call hands off to the native phone app. ## Resources - [Compliance Guide](https://9line.net/achieve-compliance-9line/): Overview of Kari's Law and Ray Baum's Act requirements and how 9Line addresses them - [FAQ](https://9line.net/faq/): Frequently asked questions about 911 compliance and 9Line solutions - [Glossary](https://9line.net/glossary/): Definitions of telecommunications and E911 terminology - [Blog](https://9line.net/news-and-blog/): Articles on 911 compliance, situational awareness, and emergency response - [Service Status](https://9line.statuspage.io/): Real-time platform status - [Customer Portal](https://portal.9line911.com/): Location management and administration portal - [Support Portal](https://support.9line911.com): Customer support and ticketing ## Contact - [Contact Page](https://9line.net/contact/) - [Schedule a Demo](https://9line.net/schedule/) - [Where to Purchase](https://9line.net/where-to-purchase/) - [LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/company/9Line/) - [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6fH95pbx9Z-9kva-b3mhQw) - [Privacy Policy](https://9line.net/privacy-policy/)
