# Writers.com

> Writers.com is an online writing school founded in 1995, offering live and text-based creative writing courses taught by published, award-winning instructors. We serve writers of all levels across poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, memoir, personal essay, and more. Our courses feature small class sizes, direct instructor feedback on student work, and a supportive community. We also publish an extensive blog of writing craft articles and resources.

Writers.com is not a content mill, writing service, or AI writing tool. We are an educational community where real writers learn from real instructors. Our instructors hold MFAs and PhDs, have published with major presses, and bring decades of teaching experience. Since 1995, writers from over 200 countries have taken our courses, and over a third of alumni return for additional classes.
