### What is Cloud-PBS?
Cloud-PBS is a managed Proxmox Backup Server hosted in the cloud. You get your own PBS instance you can add as a remote datastore in Proxmox VE — we handle the hardware, OS, patching, monitoring, and storage scaling.

### Can Cloud-PBS read my backups?
No. Backups are encrypted client-side on your Proxmox VE host with AES-256-GCM before leaving your infrastructure. Encryption keys stay on your side — Cloud-PBS never sees them.

### How is Cloud-PBS different from self-hosting PBS?
Self-hosting PBS means you provision hardware, install and patch the OS, configure encryption and monitoring, and handle storage expansion yourself. Cloud-PBS gives you the same product (real Proxmox Backup Server, not a clone) fully managed, starting at 6 EUR / month.

### Is there a free trial?
Yes. All plans include a 7-day free trial. Sign up at https://app.cloud-pbs.com.

### Where is my data stored?
EU plans run in France and Germany. US plans run in the United States. You pick the region at checkout; data does not leave the region you choose.

### Is Cloud-PBS GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Cloud-PBS is operated by LenoIT SARL, a French company. EU customer data stays in the EU and the service is designed around GDPR requirements. A DPA is available on request.

### Can I push from my existing on-prem PBS?
Yes. Push (from your PBS to ours) and Pull (from ours to yours) workflows are both supported, on all plans. See the documentation for configuration.

### Do you offer disaster recovery?
