## What is Trace?

Trace is an automatic camera system and AI platform designed for youth soccer. The Trace camera films the entire field, and our AI edits that footage into personalized highlights for every player—on both teams—automatically. 

Highlights are available in:
- **PlayerCam**: zooms in on and centers a specific player
- **GameCam**: tactical wide-angle view of the whole field (also used for full game replays)

Trace is built with parents in mind—making it easy and enjoyable to watch the moments that matter most. But we also offer advanced features and views for coaches to analyze performance and strategy.

Our mission is simple: make it incredibly easy to get video of your kid playing soccer—with a flexible pricing model that fits real families. We believe every player should have access to highlights.

## Pricing

### For Individual Families
- Camera lease: **$95/year**
- Subscription required to access footage:
  - **Basic**: $25/month or $180/year
  - **Pro**: $35/month or $300/year

Parents from the same team can subscribe individually—whether it’s for a game, a season, or the full year.

### Team Discounts
Teams with **7+ players** can get the camera for **free** and access discounted annual Pro pricing:
- 7–10 players: **$200/player/year**
- 11–15 players: **$160/player/year**
- 16+ players: **$135/player/year**

### Club Discounts
Special pricing is available for clubs with **4 or more teams**. Club accounts come with a dashboard that helps you see how your coaches and teams engage with video, and gives you branding opportunities on your video player.

## Renewals

In **Year 2**, the camera rental renews at **$495**.
But, if you **entered a full roster for your team**, or if your camera has **7 or more subscribers** (at any level: Basic or Pro, monthly or annual), your **camera renewal is free**.
