# Delinat

> Delinat is Europe's leading organic wine retailer, pioneering biodiversity-focused viticulture for over 40 years. The online shop at delinat.com sells exclusively organic wines, olive oil, honey, vinegar, and spirits — all produced under Delinat's own bio-certification standards, which exceed EU organic requirements. Delinat operates in Switzerland (CHF) and the EU (EUR).

Delinat is NOT a marketplace or aggregator — every wine is curated and certified under the proprietary Delinat method, which mandates biodiversity in vineyards (cover crops, hedges, insect habitats). The "Schnecken-Label" (snail label) on each bottle signals compliance with these standards. All Delinat-certified wines have been vegan since vintage 2017 (no animal-derived fining agents permitted). The Delinat method comprises over 100 criteria across a three-tier snail rating system, annually updated, and independently audited.
